Hydron NRG Commitment To Hydrogen
Hydron is convinced, that in the commercial vehicle market where operations costs are most important, hydrogen powered vehicles have long term competitive advantages, including:
- 50% fuel savings if diesel is $2.2 per liter and hydrogen $6 per kg (& fully loaded heavy truck needs 10kg hydrogen per 100km travelled
- Hydrogen vehicles have longer range
- Hydrogen vehicles weigh less (Fewer batteries to extend range)
- Hydrogen vehicle capital costs are close to similar diesel vehicles
- Hydron is committed to work with Australian fleet owners and Wisdom Motors to develop detailed requirements of each type of vehicle and a staged launch plan
